Give your pedals a real workout with this all-analog synthesizer. The Peace Weapon is small, simple and hearty voltage controlled oscillator that delivers huge, raw sound. It's an instrument, not a pedal. The VCO is driven by an analog LM13700 integrated circuit - the same IC used as filters in legendary synths such as the Korg MS-20. Here, as a VCO, it can output both a square and a triangle wave of unquestionably dank character.

The coarse pitch pot sweeps from thunderously low Hz to ultrasonic kHz. A fine tune pot let's you dial in your pitch. Two selectable timing caps give extra pitch flex within your chosen range. The 3.5mm CV input takes a pitch input from keys so you can run your sequence.

The Peace Weapon is an ideal and rugged tool for the sonic experimenter, road friendly noise artist and earthy and abiding enthusiast.

Takes a standard 9V DC input (not included).

Contol Voltage Input Range: ~2V to 7V (positive voltage only). Optimized for compact, modern setups, the CV input provides approximately 1-2 octaves of reliable pitch adjustment. Voltages outside this range may cause distortion, no response, or damage. The input is not designed for bipolar or negative CV signals, which some vintage gear (e.g., older Roland or Moog systems) might output. Modern devices like the Arturia Keystep typically use unipolar 0-5V or 0-10V, which aligns better. Pro tip: some microcontrollers allow you to change the octave range of the keyboard which can shift the voltage into a compatible range
